Hello my name is Leah and I am the reborn artist for Tiny Earth Angels Nursery

For those of you who are new to the reborn Artist world I will explain here what it is I do :)
I buy vinyl sculpts (doll kits created by very talented artist who strive in achieving the look of a realistic baby). These sculpts are blank vinyl parts that become my canvas, I take out my paints, brushes, sponges and begin to create a skin tone shading in just the right places, I add little capillaries and viens and I am well known for baby millia as most of my babies will have a spot or two, this has become a trademark for all my heirloom reborns. The aim of any reborn artist is to acheive realism, for this reason I am forever experimenting and trying new ways to improve my artwork to bring alive the look & feel of a real baby, extreme realism is what I always strive for with every angel i create.

I have been reborning for almost 5years now, it is the most beautiful artwork I have ever expirienced in my life, to watch these tiny sculpts turn into real life looking babies is beautiful, and to see the joy on an adopted parents face when they first hold their reborn baby brings a special happiness to my heart, I have been involved in many art and crafts decopage, oil painting, floral decoration etc over the years but none have been as fulfilling as becoming a reborn artist.

I am also the founder of the TORGOA Forum The Original Reborn Group of Australia a forum group where australian artists, sculptors, textile crafter's and collectors weather beginners, advanced or new to the crafts can come to chat to share and meet those that are like minded from around australia.
We are a fun and friendly community and have occasional reborn meet ups in different parts of australia for reborn weekends and doll shows its lovely to put faces to names of the people that have all met in TORGOA its what TORGOA is all about bringing the australian reborning community together!
